Sphero Meets Pearl Street

28 Jun 2011

Since we’re a block away from Pearl Street Mall, we thought it was time for Sphero to have a little fun and meet the neighbors...

If you've ever been to Sphero's hometown of Boulder, Colorado, then you've definitely gone for a walk along Pearl Street Mall.  For those of you that haven't, Pearl Street is a four-block pedestrian mall in the heart of downtown Boulder.  It's home to some great restaurants, locally owned shops and various bars.  But locals will tell you that what really gives Pearl Street its special character are the numerous street performers, musicians and personalities that make their way onto Pearl Street in the summer.  Never-ending entertainment and people watching are in high gear.  Lately we've noticed that Pearl Street regulars like Ibashi-i, a Boulder contortionist, can now be seen on sunny days.  And you might even run into a clipboard canvasser or two...or three or four.

It's always a blast taking Sphero out to meet new people and we hope you enjoy our video as much as we enjoyed making it.  Jefferson Le Suer, aka Dizzy Wind, provides the soundtrack...

As a bonus, here's a special poem about Sphero written and read by Bill Keys.
