Help Sphero Get on a Panel at SXSW 2013
16 Aug 2012
Ever heard of a little shindig called SXSW? It’s the biggest bash in Austin, TX bringing together film-fans, music-goers, and techies for two weeks of learning and BBQ-eating. And at SXSW Interactive 2013, Sphero has the chance to be on some cool panels. Sessions are selected by number of votes, and we need your help!
The first panel is in partnership with AT&T and Bluetooth SIG, titled “Heart of Code: Developer Program Best Practices”. As you may have heard, we’re in the middle of our Sphero Hack Tour 2012 and it’s going great. If this panel wins the shootout, SXSW-ers would get the chance to learn about what goes on behind the scenes to pull off a successful hackathon program.
Sphero’s second panel in the running is “Parsing Reality: Shaping Play with Connected Stuff”. If this gets the most votes, SXSW-ers will learn how everyday objects are combining the real and virtual worlds to become the most interesting platform for mixed-reality gaming (hint: Sphero, Sphero!).
Voting is open until August 31st, and you can vote once for each panel (via the links above). Let’s get Sphero rolling onto the stage in Austin next year.
